ABOUT
Denise has shown interest in the arts since age five, after she found her mother’s lipstick and was found “decorating” a few walls at home. since then, she has graduated to acrylic, watercolor, and charcoal as her favorite mediums.
After high school, she replaced art with architecture at Syracuse University, eventually starting her architecture & interior design career in washington D.C.
Fast forward to September 2019, Denise goes hiking and severely fractures her foot after slipping off a cliff. Her decreased level of activity while recovering prompted a revival of her once-loved sedentary hobby.
When she’s not painting, she’s practicing yoga, throwing pottery, snowboarding, or trying to talk herself into getting a dog. She is based out of both San Francisco and D.C.
